2. Scope of Service
PlacedAI provides an AI-powered career profile analysis service. Users can submit their resume text, upload a PDF, or paste LinkedIn profile text and receive automated feedback, improvement suggestions, keyword analysis, and ATS compatibility scores.
2.1 Free Tier
New users receive 3 free analyses to try the service. No account or payment information is required to access the free tier.
2.2 Paid Plans
The following paid options are currently available:
- Unlimited Plan — €19/month: Unlimited AI-powered profile analyses. Subscription renews monthly. Cancel any time with no penalty; access continues until end of the billing period.
- Credit Pack — €29 (one-time): 10 analysis credits that never expire. Buy once, use whenever.
- PDF Export — €4.99 (one-time): Export a single analysis report as a PDF. Digital content delivered immediately upon payment.
2.3 Cancellation and Refunds
Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time with 14 days' notice before the next billing period. Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the paid period. Credit Packs and PDF exports are one-time purchases of digital content and are delivered immediately — the right of withdrawal expires upon delivery of the digital content where you have expressly consented to immediate delivery (§356 Abs. 5 BGB). 2.4 Pricing Changes
We reserve the right to adjust pricing with reasonable advance notice. Existing subscriptions will not be affected mid-cycle.
3. Use of the Service
3.1 Permitted Use
You may use PlacedAI for personal, non-commercial career development purposes. You may also use it for legitimate business purposes (e.g., HR professionals analysing CVs with candidate consent).
3.2 Prohibited Use
You may not:
- Scrape, crawl, or automate requests to the service without written permission
- Submit profile data belonging to third parties without their explicit consent
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the service
- Use the service to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or harmful
- Resell or sublicense access to the service
4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
PlacedAI uses large language models (AI) to generate career feedback. Please note:
- AI-generated suggestions are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional career, legal, or employment advice.
- The accuracy of AI output may vary. Always review recommendations critically before acting on them.
- PlacedAI is not responsible for career outcomes resulting from following the service's suggestions.
5. Data and Privacy
Your use of PlacedAI is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you agree to the processing of your submitted profile content as described therein.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any profile content you provide (e.g., your own resume or a CV you have been authorised to process).
6. Intellectual Property
The PlacedAI platform, including its design, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of Tobias Holst. The AI-generated analysis output is provided to you for personal use. You may copy, share, or adapt it for your own career documents.
You retain ownership of the profile content you submit.
7. Availability and Changes
We aim to keep PlacedAI available continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time
- Update these Terms — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
- Introduce usage limits if abuse or overuse is detected
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, PlacedAI and Tobias Holst are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service
- Career outcomes, job applications, or hiring decisions
- Temporary unavailability of the service
- Data loss due to events beyond our reasonable control
Liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence remains unaffected. Consumer rights under applicable law (including EU consumer protection law) are not restricted by these Terms.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. For consumers in the EU, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence also apply.

We are not obliged to participate in a consumer arbitration procedure and do not voluntarily participate.
